   AnimEditor is a special application in the "Games Development Studio" toolset specializing in character animation.



To visualize characters we use skeleton animation along with a skinned mesh.
The goal of the skeleton animation module is the determination of the character's bone positions at a certain moment when interacting with environmental objects.
We use the "Skinned Mesh" technique for adjusting meshes. When developing meshes designers bind mesh vertices to particular bones and indicate the rate of bone influence over the position of the vertex in space. Thus, we manage to create smooth bends of meshes in the joints.
Therefore, with the usage of AnimEditor designers set "keys" (position of bones at a certain moment in time) according to which routs of extremities are built.
In other words, AnimEditor apart from means of editing contains a mechanism of interpolation of poly vertex coordinates that enables the designer to change the characters' pose. To achieve this effect we should determine the first pose, the last pose, transition time, as well as the parameter of sampling for the motion.
